5 int's all year????
Why can't we create turnovers????? Even when the ball is in the hands of our guys (ie: Washington drop and Rogers drop) we can't pull them in.
Imagine if our secondary was a 10th-15th ranked secondary, and we actually had say 10 ints. We'd be 7-6! So seriously, what is the deal with our team not producing turnovers?

Washington really needed to make that play today, the ball hit him right in the hands.

Re: 5 int's all year????
As of last week we had 9 turnovers (takeaways), by far the lowest in the NFL. The Bucs were the next closest with 13.
Only 6 other teams are under 20 turnovers (takeaway's) in the NFL. (just thought you'd like to see some stats)

I just want our defense to learn to tackle first! But I definitely agree, when the ball hits you in the hands...you need to catch the freakin' thing!

That's why they play DB, cause they can't catch! How much would it cost for Asante Samuel?

If you can't catch, you should be an OL.

Re: 5 int's all year????
Damn CB's just need to practice catching. I remember that clip from a couple of years ago where they showed how the NE Patriots linebackers and CBs used to practice catching torpedo fast passes from the LB's coach.
It was inexcusable for Rogers not to come away with an INT on the first play of the game. Atleast in Washington's case, one could argue that he was off balance. Rogers has got piss poor hands. We suck at INTs. |

I think the reason they have only got 5 int's this year is because they suck.

Re: 5 int's all year????
Yeah, Rogers couldn't catch a cold. We should trade him to the Falcons, they can make him a WR...lol. All jokes aside, he needs to figure something out. Start spending some time after practice with dudes gunning the football at you. Or just catching lollipops, I don't care...learn how to catch, 22.
Ugh...that post spiraled outta control on me. |

Re: 5 int's all year????
I heard somewhere that he had the most dropped passes in the history of the NFL. I heard it in my bar by a couple Cowpatty fans, so it might not be true, but why would they say it?
