Yea Saunders is calling the plays. That is the usual job of the offensive coordinator. I think the only questionable play call was the slant to Cooley on 3rd and 9 that got picked off. It was a bad play for that situation. The playcalling was good and particularly balanced which is Saunders theme. 205 passing and 210 rushing is solid. The simple reson for the loss is 2 INT's that resulted in 14 points.

I agree on all counts, what's the point in blaming Gibbs, who isnt calling the plays, when u have an inexperienced QB managing an offense that had lost their starting center and had already had poorly timed exchanges earlier in the game on a 4th and goal from the 4 with plenty of time on the clock. Yes, u are down by 5 but ultimately ur defense has shut them down in the second half and momentum is in ur favor. There is no reason to believe that u can't get a stop with 2 timeouts and a 2 minute warning. Why jeopardize that by possibly failing to convert on the goal line and ending the game right there? Its really easy to monday morning QB the game but the game was what is was and there is no reason to point fingers now. Campbell is gonna have to go thru his growing pains in these next couple of games so that he can lead this team next year that should be our main concern.
