Yeah, well I have a torn cuticle that I've been hiding from you guys. At this point in my career I think I may retire before I sustain any more injuries.

The data model for the current project I'm working on is way out of date. It was created by some offshore Indian contractor back in 1999 and the quality is just piss poor. I suggested we do it right and fix our data model before implementing new features. All manager and the other senior developer want to do is patch the data model for now and revisit it later. meanwhile I am the sucker left with the daunting task of patching and hacking this data model. This is really the kind of thing that makes you want to resign your position.
