Re: Troy Vincent shopping for New Tundra

MY buddy bought a Tundra and the second month he had it he went through a hail storm with baseball to softball size hail. It was cool because he called me as the hail was beating the crap out of his truck and he was freaking out. It did around $10,000 in damage. He got the truck fixed and about 5 months latter was broad sided by a person running a stop sign at around 40 mph. That was another $15,000 in damage. He loves the truck but he thinks its bad luck. Oh, I forgot the second day he had the truck he tried throwing a board into a junk truck and over threw it and hit his new truck.

Canthetuna was instrumental in getting me a good deal on my RAV4 this past summer. Respect!

Re: Troy Vincent shopping for New Tundra

dmek, american cars are a whole different ballgame... manufacturer's that are struggling to keep their heads above water are having to compensate their dealers to keep the doors open, resulting in a lot of room to move between sticker and what you can find a bottom line price in...

I have a little pull at Fox cheverolet and friends at koons manassas gmc pontiac, but other than that don't know much about them...

What are you interested in?

I had an 02 yukon loaded for a while... what a truck.. I loved it.

The hard thing about buying american today is that you never know if you're really buying american...

Ford, for instance, says its "american" but is constantly moving its production to mexico... its still "american" but not US...

Most of the Camrys and corollas I sell are made right here in the US. Thats what I like about Toyota... they contribute alot back to the US economy.

The Tundra is the only truck in its class to be designed, tested, built, and sold ONLY in the United States. That'll kinda blow your mind a little bit, won't it...

They just opened a new plant in San Antonio to help the Indiana plant with its production... and the most efficient 4 cylinder motor manufacturing facility in the world is in West VA! You'd think toyota would have a sweat shop in some third world country that would take that prize, but its americans. Most of whom saw their Ford or GM job move out of country...
