Day off without being sick!
Consider yourself lucky, it could've been a 3 week-long sickness. |

Re: F....being sick for an hour
That's been happening to me alot lately. It's probably got something to do with the weather.
I've been waking up with a head-ache... sore throat, all stuffed up... and then a few hours later I'm golden. F... that.

Same deal here. Feels like a hangover, then around ten it is gone. I am guessing it is the dry heat.

Re: F....being sick for an hour
I felt like that on Monday. Plus, my work computer crashed over the weekend so I just called the PC help people to let them know what was up and called it a day after 1 hour. By the time I got home I was already feeling better.
And No, I wasn't just hungover from the super bowl.

Re: F....being sick for an hour
If your going to have a sick non-sick day you need to pick better weather so its not a wasted day. I seem to have this problem when the fish are biting and its 85 degrees out. It is also allot easier to call in sick when you work for yourself. You know your lying but there is nothing you can do about it.

Maybe you have genetic mutation that allows for super-human recovery from viral infections. Talk to the producers of Heroes and ask if you can be on the show.
My genetic mutated power is being able to fart whenever I don't want to. So far, it hasn't come in really all that handy.

Re: F....being sick for an hour
I feel like shit right now. It was even worse yesterday night. I had a fever, could barely breath and sweating like someone who has been running a marathon. I'm pretty sure I caught something at the SB party I went to...lots of mofo were speaking funny at the party.
I much prefer being sick for only an hour to what I'm going through.
