Randy Thomas got a $7M SB a few years back, so giving Dock an $8M SB today would seem about right (particularly when you consider that Dock is nowhere near as good). Champ Bailey got $18M in bonus money a few years back, so Clements getting about $14M this year would seem right (particularly when you consider that he's nowhere near as good). Instead, these players got about DOUBLE what they should have gotten. But, the salary cap hasn't increased twofold in the past 2 years. So, this s---t is just crazy.

The first thing that I thought about when I heard Dock's contract was Hutchinson's deal.

Hutchinson is the premier guard in the league and Dock is making what he made.

I think that everyone on the site will agree that the Redskins should not have matched or offered the deal that Dockery signed.
