Depth. Smoot is a solid #2 corner and Rogers hasn't proven himself yet. Smoot is still a huge upgrade from what we had last season, and if we can keep Springs, then having Smoot, Rogers, Springs, and Taylor in the secondary shold be an upgrade for us.
