I hated the trade for him cause we lost the best cb & we gave them a 2nd rnd. pick!
But that's water under the bridge, CP got here & in his 1st 2 seasons carried the ball 20+ times a game, racked up tough yards when we had little passing threat, blocks ANYBODY that gets near the qb & took on a leadership role. A lot of guys don't play their best football after signing big contracts, but CP isn't one of them. Yeah, he was hurt last year, but even the injury that started the preseason was a play indicative of how hard he plays the game.

So yes, I'll say he's a tough back & once he's healthy this year, he'll get back to the 1,300 & 1,500 yard form he had in 04 & 05. He may not get the #s cause we'll run Betts more, but he'll make plays & get in the endzone.
