NFL Network: Bears' Briggs, 31st Pick for Skins' 6th Pick?

This purposed deal tells me a couple of things :

1) Washington doesn't think that anyone at the 6 spot is able to come in and help right away.
2) They also much feel that the Linebacking play last year was as much to blame as the DL or the secondary.

With this in mind I really don't think this deal is as bad as I orginally thought that it was, I still would rather them wait until draft day and see if anyone makes them an offer they can't refuse - kinda like the Ricky Williams deal from a couple of years back. If that offer doesn't come up and the FO doesn't think that the players at 6 will come in right away and help the team then go for it. This trade would allow them to get possible 2 starters for the price of one.
