My comment wasn't aimed at you. I meant to say that all too often we think about things in either/or fashion where no middle ground is considered "in play". That makes for irrational arguments where rational discussions could happen - - on Internet sites as well as in real life. This particular "debate topic" is one that often devolves into an "either/or" mode very quickly. I was only trying to point out that sometimes the best answer lies somewhere between the two choices. Since you said you "aim to please", that reminded me of a very old joke about the sign in a men's public restroom from the restroom attendants: WE AIM TO PLEASE. YOU AIM TOO, PLEASE.

I would draft the best available at a position of need. Trading down as Best available don't fit a need...
