Exactly. But if we draft him and only sign him to a 4 or 5 yr contract we're just training him for someone else. I'd only want him if he would be willing to sign a 9 year deal with the last 4 voidable by the team.
On the flipside, trade down with Carolina (who are reportedly trying to trade Jenkins again) and pick up Carriker. True, he's not the pass rusher Adams or Moss is but playing LDE he'd tie up two guys and let Washington make a million tackles against the run. Teams would have to run at Carter instead and would find Taylor and McIntosh lurking behind him.
