injury prone & doesn't play spec. teams. As a 4th wr, it is tough to keep a guy on the roster that doesn't play spec. teams. Thrash is a great #4 & plays teams well.

The saints will have a tough decision to make come final cuts, cause Patten isn't anywhere near their top 1-3 wr's, and I don't think they can suddenly turn him into a spec. teams dude.

I thought he would be a significant, not huge, help to us last year, but he couldn't suit up for the most part.

I don't remember the exact figure, but I think he was scheduled to cost the Redskins 3million+ on the salary cap this year.

Way too much for a guy with his production.

i really liked it when the skins picked up patten, i thought he was going to be a good player for us. as it turned out i was dead wrong but i still like the guy and i hope he does well for the saints.
