When was the last time the Redskins had three interceptions in a game? I know it's preseason but, if it's any indication of what's to follow then it's gonna be fun to watch...Seeing Taylor in the endzone after the first interception, I was shocked at his size...I knew he was big but, damn.
Does anyone remember that play when Shockey bowled over a player...he caught the ball and turned down field and leveled some dude for a big gain...can't remember if it was last season or the one before...It was all over the highlight reels here in NY. I'd like to see Shockey try that against Taylor...I guarantee a different result. |

There are very few players that I can recall to have a lasting impression on my current favorite player list. Lavar Arrington is 1#, Fred Smoot 2# and Sean Taylor is 3#. I thought Sean Taylor was a linebacker when he practiced on Fan Day in training camp. He's big, fast and just the kind of defensive player we needed in the NFC. What he showed us last night is that he is versatile. He can play cornerback or slide over to Strong Safety. Ohalete and Bowen can't compete for this position with what Taylor brings to the table. He is the Redskins, what Roy Williams is to the Cowgirls.

Taylor showed exactly what I have been screaming about before the draft, he has the instict's to be an all time great, I don't think we will see a lot of highlight hit's from him ala Roy William's, or a ronnie lott type hit, he is more instictive then both, he will go after the ball, rather than the reciever, which is much more important, interception's win games, but every once in a while he will let a reciever know he's there, no doubt, and level him.
