Re: Tyler Ecker, TE
Big Boy, could be the long term TE need, WITH Cooley.

Yes. I would be nice if he turns out to be a good reserve. I think he will be very physical with his size, good blocking TE, like Royal?

Man one pick, I think we should have taken Patrick then Palmer. Though I like the Palmer pick at this point in the draft. Coach Gibbs is probably going to say Palmer is "a smart player, that fights his guts out."

Re: Tyler Ecker, TE
I forgot he was a SR altogether!!!!!!!! Nice #7 pick and probably the best pick after Landry. Might have salvaged a little from this draft after all!!! A big boy with pretty decent speed and hands. Nice to get a Big Ten guy in here.

Re: Tyler Ecker, TE
Funny Dirtbag!!!!!! Yeah Palmer might fight his guts out, just like Ramsey did, after he threw his usual 3-4 INT's.

Re: Tyler Ecker, TE
For what reason won't he make the team?

Re: Tyler Ecker, TE
He's a poor reciever, with below average speed, and Gibbs said he didn't plan to use him as an extra lineman. So, in other words he's a waste of a roster spot; just like all the other picks today.

Re: Tyler Ecker, TE
Sadly that's exactly how I feel about this particular pick, but the other picks seem pretty good to me.

Re: Tyler Ecker, TE
We'll bring in a UDFA TE who will run circles around Ecker.

Alright. Who dishes out the draft grades per team?

Re: Tyler Ecker, TE
How often do good players come out of round 7 anyway. I think the redskins scouts no alot more about judging talent and whats best for the team then most of us. Im not trying to say all our 2nd picks will turn out ok, cuz chances are they wont for most teams in the league. I just want everyone to know i still have great faith in Joe Gibbs.
The one thing i am most happy about from this draft is that we will still have all of our 08 picks left for once
