Further, atleast 6-7 carries that Portis had came right at the end when our objective was to get short runs to get first downs and run out the clock. So, if you take away those 6-7 small yard carries at the end along with the 64 yd run, he had about 21 carries for 80-84 yards, which is a pretty decent yards per carry.

I agree, you can pick apart almost any RB's performance and say, well if you take away this run he only had X amount of yards.
