Re: robert horry
I'm a big suns fan, have been since the Barkley years started, and after that happened I jumped of the bench (couch) to,I hate the Spurs, and if they suspend Amare, or Diaw I may lose hope in the nba all together

Re: robert horry
Bruce Bowen is the owrst of them all. Mr defensive player is out trying to injure people. I watched some of Washington Post Live and some guy said that he didn't have a problem with Bowen kneeing Nash in the nuts ? Was it Eric Bickle ? Can't remember but I'm like are you effin kidding me. HE KNEED HIM IN THE NUTS !!!!! That's not good playoff basketball, that's friggin wrong! I can see if it was an accident but he purposfully kneed him in his happy place. If anyone should be suspended it should be that prick because as long as he gets away with it he'll keep doing that ish !

Re: robert horry
The rules are the rules. You can't leave the bench during an altercation. And it's not like they stood up and sat down. They got up and walked toward the altercation, and probably not to just watch.

Re: robert horry
it doesn't seem very fair that a scrub like Robert Horry takes out the suns second best player, and their top player off the bench with a cheap shot to Nash, does it? maybe have them serve the suspension at the beginning of the next season. and how comes Horry only gets 2 games? what a joke

Re: robert horry
I wouldn't call Horry a scrub though. Not come playoff time

Re: robert horry
I used to be a fan of Horry's, but that was a completely an unneeded level of contact on that foul. I hate the suns, but I hate the spurs more and this whole series the spurs have been playing like thugs almost as if to try and fight off their squeaky clean image of the past few years. it's pathetic that horry is only gone for 2 games for a foul in which he obviously intended to hurt nash and make a message of it. the nba is a crock.

Re: robert horry
Horry has definitely tarnished his image after this incident. What a major, major blunder by the NBA.
Unbelievable that they would suspend, essentially two major contributors from one squad, and one role player from the other team. My biggest issue with this ruling is that now it can decide the outcome of the series. No rule, in my opinion, no matter how intent or deliberate is meant to nor should it decide the outcome of games; Especially when all the chips are on the table. They screwed up royally! |

Re: robert horry
Can you appeal suspensions in the NBA? I know players in the MLB do it all the time to delay their suspensions.

Re: robert horry
no way they would win an appeal. this is what commish stern wants, and he usually gets what he wants
