Re: Knocked Up.

Judd Apatow's on a roll with Knocked Up... the writing was impressive- it was real without being over-the-top (especially the dramatic parts). Probably the best film I've seen this summer, maybe this year. I just hope he doesn't turn into Kevin Smith, with flicks driven by pedantic musings on relationships and life- stick with your current formula Judd!

Dude, you are so right on. I swear, I was tossing and turning in my chair like I had to piss! It had just about everything, but like you said it wasn't over the top.

Knocked Up was a hilarious flick. My buddy recommended it to me and then went with me to see it a second time. I am considering a second trip with some other friends who haven't seen it. HIGHLY recommended.

Word, man. I grew up in Clifton Forge and we would drive to the Lexington drive-in during the summer. I actually didn't realize it was still open.

Yeah, you should come on up and enjoy the drinking at the drive-in. It just got reopened after the owner died a few years ago. It's community owned now, and lots of good movies are coming this summer.

It's got Leslie Mann from that Sandler flick. Love that seen in the grocery store. Big Daddy.

"We ruined the good surprise on you". She's married to Judd Apatow...

The wife wants to see it, so it's a matter of time before I break down and go. Perhaps this weekend, while everyone else is seeing Ocean's 13 and Surf's Up. Although she wants to see Pirates too. Perhaps we may have to sneak into one after seeing the other...

Re: Knocked Up.

I went and saw this movie last night based upon the recommendations here. I thought it was kinda funny, I laughed a couple times, but I also laughed a couple times at Beer League. I guess its more for the couples that are married w/ children, that have gone through these trials and tribulations.

Re: Knocked Up.

Before reading this thread I had absolutely no interest in going to see this movie, now things have changed.
