I could agree with that, except that Colston completey died at the end of the season.

He caught only 16 balls for 169 yards and 1 td in his last 5 games. That's an average of only 3.2 catches a game and 33.8 yards per game. So when the going got tough, Colston disappeared.

In November, he had a hamstring (or similar) injury and missed three games and another in the final week, so that hurt his stats, but really, when hw was on the field, he performed well. Hey, Vince Young didn't play in every game either...he was behind KERRY COLLINS on the depth chart (who had JUST been signed) to start the year!

He had 7 catches for 84 yards against us in Week 15 and scored a TD in Week 16.


1038 yards and 8 TDs is good for any receiver, let alone an unknown rookie from Hostra who started the year behind Joe Horn on the depth chart.
