Yes, this is true. I'm not saying they should always be smiling and high-fiving me, but it doesn't hurt to even be CIVIL. Those days where I get mad people are bothering me on a Friday, I DO still go out and do my job and never let them know I'm having a bad day.

i don't know if its society, or what. it seems like alot more people have crappy attitudes, then say about 20 years ago. then again, in todays world, the more you bitch, the more you get. its really a sucky way to do business

I don't know. I'm really trying hard to reward the people who give me excellent customer service. Like I feel a lot of people have no problem calling a manager when something goes wrong, but nowhere near as many people will call to congratulate someone on a job well-done.

i do. if I'm out eating, or buying something, and the sales person does a good job, i always talk to the manager/ boss, and let them know. and i always let my tip reflect on the service
