WR McCardell considering signing with Redskins, Texans

Randle El is a solid #3, but as a #2 he doesn't scare anyone.

Thrash is a solid vet but again, he doesn't scare anyone and he's a #3 at best, probably closer to a #4 at this point in his career.

The reality of this is McCardell could step in and immediately be a very solid #3 guy and possibly a #2 if needed, a consistent vet who knows how to get open, knows how to play the game and can still play. Just 2 years ago he had 70 catches and 9 TDs for San Diego.

I wouldn't be against this move at all, I think he could be had for a reasonable price too.

At his age trying to wrap up his career "if" in DC, I don't think cash is the point. He would not require a big payout.

If he can still play, I would not be opposed to bringing him back for the year.

I think your dead on about Lloyd could go either way, I do hope this is his year to redeem himself? But that's anyone's guess at this point, I was hoping we dumped his ass right along with ARCH.

But Thrash isn't a #2 or #3 at WR, but great all around teams/ depth player that we should keep.
