Brian Mitchell to be honored in the Sports hall of fame in La.
That's a great first step for B. mitch, used to love to watch him play, that tough gritty rascal. Hatted when he left, but glad he did the one day signing deal....then retired a REDSKIN, as he should be know.

You guys think he's a real hall of fame guy? When you look at his career numbers a case can be made

Re: Brian Mitchell to be honored in the Sports hall of fame in La.
His numbers are HOF worthy but after witnessing what has happened to Monk it's difficult to say that he would ever be inducted.
He'll always hold a special memory in the minds of most Redskin fans for his inspired play. For me personally, I'll always remember the first time he actually got to play QB (the position he played in college) in the infamous "body bag game". I'm happy for him, and would love to live to see the day he's inshrined. |
