I'm with you on that. I'm in the middle of David McCollough's John Adams, and I have his newest one, 1776 that I'll read next. I'm on the Revolutionary War kick these days.

Loved both those books. 1776 was so good, at the end I was left wishing he had written about the entire war, not just that year. John Adams was is one of my favorite biographies, what an amazing guy. I especially enjoyed how Adams contrasted with Washington and Jefferson, and how he and Jefferson got over their rivalry to become friends late in life, then both died on the same Fourth of July. McCullough is so talented at making history approachable and readable. His books are packed wth information but read like a novel.

My mom used to be an elementary school librarian, so she brought home the first Harry Potter book when I was in college and I've enjoyed them all since.

I enjoyed the ending of book seven, a little cheesy, but good closure.
