Report: Juan Carlos Navarro Headed to Memphis
So various sources are saying that JCN is heading to Memphis in exchange for a 1st round pick. Unfortunately, it's a lottery-protected pick. But it's something I suppose

I was hoping we could dump Etan too, but I'll take a first rounder. I don't think he's Jordan, but I believe JCN will develop into a fine NBA guard. I'm just glad he didn't go to Miami.

Re: Report: Juan Carlos Navarro Headed to Memphis
For a guy we drafted in 2002, I'm pretty happy that we got a first rounder for him. We've waited like 5 years for him to play in the NBA, he was nothing more than an afterthought these past few years so it's w/e. I'm sure he'll be a quality guard in the NBA (whenever he arrives).

Re: Report: Juan Carlos Navarro Headed to Memphis
According to Chris Vernon of ESPN Radio in Memphis:
'08 if the Grizzlies select 20 or further down, it goes to the Wizards (top 19 protected) '09 if the Grizzlies select 17 or further down, it goes to the Wizards (top 16 protected) '10- '12 the Grizzlies pick is lottery protected '13 - the pick is top 12 protected and if it has not been given, cash considerations will be given to the Wizards. (Grizzlies got the better end of this deal it seems)
