Landry does not know GW's system, and it's extremely arrogant to assume because he's a good athlete, than he will pick it up that quickly and be effective. If PP is not ready, then we'll see Landry, but I assume PP is ready and Landry will learn a lot by watching. It's the wise thing to do.

The Portis thing is basically an ego thing for Clinton. I'm sorry but what have you done for us lately? Name Betts starter b/c he deserves it and maybe it will light a fire under Portis's ass.

I am so glad you're not our coach. Portis has earned the #1 RB spot, it would take more than what Betts did last year to unseat him. Portis was on an amazing pace in terms of TD's. You can't fault him for getting hurt. Portis is now healthy, and he has earned his starting spot.
In case you missed it, Betts was a fumble machine. Hey, I loved the guy, but last year was a learning process for him. He proved to be a VERY VALUABLE backup, one of the best backups in the league...but he still is just that, a back up.
