Anyone else catch the GB/Colts game?
Talk about the peyton manning experience...
something like 500+ yds of offense in the FIRST QUARTER!! javon walker is this weeks best receiver with 200 yds and 3 TDs, in ONE game... B. Favre 30/44 360 4 TD 0 INT P. Manning 28/40 393 5 TD 0 INT guess they're both batting near 150 with those stats NEVER get in a shoot out with the colts... in other news, NYG is 2-1, philly is 3-0... meaning dallas & DC are tied at .500 for last place ... tough crowd, hopefully we can get to .667 within the next 6 hours... |

Peyton is that good, but Greenbays D is that bad too.
So I'd say that this game was all about offense on both sides of the ball & Peyton's arm just kept firing! Brett flashed some greatness last night, but The Colts had more weapons to exploit.

I wish I did see the game, the highlights were awesome
Favre and Manning combined for 9 TD passes and no picks, two of the best in classic shootout, gotta love it |

Without a doubt, Javon Walker was the receiver of the week (so far), but the Pack was looking to mount a drive for a tying touchdown when he had the ball stripped after a catch. After putting up huge numbers and scoring left and right, he hands the game back to the Colts. He's both the receiver of the week, and his team's goat! Boy, was that a fun game!

That was one of the worst games I have ever seen. I turned it off at halftime.
It wasn't that the offense's were so great, the defense's were beyond terrible. It was a joke. The Qb's were laughing. Needless to say the TV commentators were loving it. Green Bay actually started the game with the game plan to shut down the run and take their chances with the pass. Even after the Colts scored two quick TD's with a 3 WR set (with something like 20 passes and NO rushing attempts), Green Bay continued to play a 8 man front and stayed with their base 4-3. Any freakin high school coach would have switched to a nickel defense to counter the 3 WR set and started playing their safties two deep. Both of these teams have no chance at the superbowl unless their defense's greatly improve. I don't care how great their offense's looked yesterday. When they play a team with real defense, they will get crushed. |

After sitting through the 6-3 AZ-ATL game out here, it was a pleasure to watch the Colts/Packers.
