Re: Practice Squad
"DE Alex Buzbee (Georgetown kid showed well)
CR Byron Westbrook (local kid was an immediate hit but has a ways to go) LB Anthony Trucks (he worked his butt off in camp and glad to see him rewarded) LB Matt Sinclair (he and Chris Wilson often last two guys off the field adn out of the building on defense) CB John Eubanks (went neck and neck with torrence for 5th CB spot) That's a pretty good haul for the defnese and seems like they were able to keep most of what they wanted. I would think Bell the FB and Jordan Plamer (QB) would be there as well unless someone else signed them. Maybe Lefotu, too. Skins also looking around at WRs and other options for the roster. Will post more when I get it."

Looks like a good squad. Sartz had a bad hammy and sucked, palmer just sucked, no suprises there.

Re: Practice Squad
Anybody know anything about this guy Trucks? He came out of nowhere. I'm not sure which LB position he plays but he was making plays all preseason. He was the one who knocked the ball loose when Starz scored.

Re: Practice Squad
Not a surprise that Jordan got the boot. Was a little surprised with Dallas Sartz. I figured he'd make the practice squad at least.

100 tackles in a year (15.5 for loss, 11 sacks, 1 int) and undrafted. I mentioned him before the 06 draft as the best value in the 7th round though http://www.redskinswarpath.com/nfl-d...anthony+trucks there are a ton of other posts with him in it that far back, but that's a pretty decent one. has both our DTs and doughty on the wishlist for the 2nd day too |
