Re: Cowher has no coaching plans

You need more than just another LB for the 3-4. What we're lacking for a 3-4 right now is a true nose tackle and two sturdy DEs.

Either way, if Cowher came here and wanted to run the 3-4, he would just need to get his own personnel in here.

True but 10 of those 14 years were playoff appearances. And there is not another coach in the league who can boast that stat. And that is why he will be highy recruited.

Sure he only won one Super Bowl, but playoffs in 10 of 14 ain't bad at all.

Sure, he'd coach the team (Browns) that was his former team's biggest rival and whose fans probably said some nasty stuff about him over the years.

I'd replace Cleveland with Carolina, because didn't he retire to move to NC to be with his family? This would keep him in the same place his family lives.

Carolina's a good possibility. I wouldn't discount Tampa. Although they probably will look for the anti-Gruden next

I personally think that Tampa Bay is going to be decent this year. Better than Carolina atleast. IMO if Cowher was going to any team in the near future it would probably be Carolina just noting on how ever since their Super Bowl appearance they have been on a decline.

I don't know. I know it's not exactly foolproof to just look at the schedule. But...looking at the schedule I can easily see the Bucs starting 0-5, 0-6 even.
