Re: Cowboys' Ferguson Reportedly Out for the Season
The Tuna said on ESPN that this lose could be a very big hit and the O is going to have to make up what Ferguson lose all year!

Re: Cowboys' Ferguson Reportedly Out for the Season
Ferguson's injury is pretty big. You guys notice Ward tear through the middle throughout the game?
I think the plan is pretty simple against Dallas. Run, run, run... and then burn horse-collar Williams when he creeps the line. |

Re: Cowboys' Ferguson Reportedly Out for the Season
do they even have another nose tackle? this is a big loss. lets get behind the dirtbags, and run it right down their throats

Re: Cowboys' Ferguson Reportedly Out for the Season
Nose tackle in the 3/4 is crucial. And it's not like the D looked good before that...
Romo looked good, but it's hard to say with the gints D. We'll probably be able to ball-control Romo and TO off the field. But they can move the ball, no doubt, and TO is a threat (both to his team and other teams...). I hate Dallas.

Re: Cowboys' Ferguson Reportedly Out for the Season
The cowpukes have a kid named Ratliff , I think he played DE at Auburn with JC and Rogers . The team likes him alot ,,, but after a few weeks , I bet they will really miss Ferguson . If Newman doesn't come back at full strength soon , they might get burned all year !

Wouldn't surprise me to see Tank Johnson in a Cowboys uniform for the back end of the season

Re: Cowboys' Ferguson Reportedly Out for the Season
that would make sense, I doubt anyone cares about gun violations in Texas.

Nope, no way no how. Johnson is a 4-3 DT and has limited to no exposure to the 3-4. Also, no matter what (or IF) team signs him, he still has to sit out 8 games AFTER he signs. So if someone takes a chance on him and signs him in week 12, then he will not be active until week 5 of the 2008-09 season. Ratliff did fine in replacement. He has been playing at NT for the past couple of seasons in relief of Fergy. He is not a big NT but effective. He gets great penetration up the middle and recorded a sack on Sunday night, and had 3 in the preseason playing NT. When Ward broke those big runs...it was away from Ratliff and right at rookie Anthony Spencer. |
