Granted, the playcalling was very conservative, and teams don't win by that, so i'm putting the blame on the entire team for this one.
With the amount of time the defense spent on the feild, and the playcalling of the offense, I think THAT speaks for itself....yeah the defense didnt play great in the second half...but when you're playing for 30 straight mintues, that is going to play a big factor into why you cant play solid defense....

Well, the defense had already racked up 6-7 minutes of time on the field in the third quarter before Campbell and co. even took the field. So if you look at it that way...

The defense played awful from there on out. The offense played awful from there on out. It's encouraging that we apparently got it turned around with 3 mins left, but if your team plays a shitty 27 mins of football, what can you do?

Well we better get a pass rush going gents for the Lions or they are going to beat us at home for the first time since 1967. To be a true winner we need to be hitting on all cylinders for 4 quarters of the game. It is almost like our coaching staff wants to make it a close game or even to lose it. Gibbs II is looking rather shaky right now. We need a convincing win against the Lions after the bye to get things going. IF we lose to the Lions at home for the first time since '67 we are screwed!!!!!!

The Lions are terrible.

We have to look better than we did today for sure, but their pass D is every bit as bad as what people thought the Giants were.

Playcalling didn't lose this game. Saunders was sending in passing plays, but until the final minute or so of the game, Campbell couldn't find anyone open. I was more upset with the inability of the running game to get on track.

The Giants picked one game to step the hell up and play defense, and it was this one. By the same token, the Redskins chose one game to take the second half off, and it was this one.

Re: Great Playcalling, Joe

yeaaaa the 2nd half pretty much sucked balls, it was really sad and of course as always when there are like 3 or 4 min remaining in the game they decide to throw the ball, something along the line of "OHHH shit we are loosing how about we throw the ball" F..... that shit, the game was ours until the 2nd half i just watched the game going the entire time Wtf was that. i am still shocked and sick to my stomach, i could barely eat. i just dont understand why dont we spread the offense, where was cooley where was Lloyd(granted he blows), where was EL pretty much for the whole game? when is gibbs gonna try to understand that you cant use that conservative play calling bullshit for the entire game.. Fing A im not asking for a bengals offense, i dont expect 50 points a game but for christ sakes take some chances. most of the 2nd half i thought brunell was playing not campbell. with that off my chest im gonna get back to watching bears hopefully beat cowgirls
