When you have the ball 22 minutes in the first half... When its 100 degrees on the field... When you are a physical, smashmouth team and your opponent relies on finesse... Then it's simply a matter of time before the other team says, "To hell with this. Let's go home." Anyone watching the game could see that's what happened. Cooley's not saying anything there that wasn't obvious to all.
