And Cowher says you know what Moss and Portis I don't need you guys, I'll find some replacements in free agency. And Sean Taylor says, I'm tired of these changes. I want out. And so on...

Are we better off? Or are you saying we should just make a change anyway. Consequences be damned
Even in that worst case scenario, kind of ridiculous but OK, things would get turned around. Some guys have that vision of putting things together. Gibbs had it long time ago, but a lot has happened between then and now. Saunders sure had it offensively w/ KC but man that was like a powerhouse running game we just can't put together. We all know Gibbs era coming to close? What's your best case scenario?

I really think the era is coming to a close no matter what (Gibbs 2.0), he might retire end of this season.
Of course, Snyder would get crucified for publicly insulting Gibbs w/ a hit like that, but since Gibbs has pretty much taken a back seat when it comes to coaching what about bringing someone in to replace Saunders? What about bringing in the next coach now as the General Manager to restore discipline, organization, time/training/strengthening management.

I'm really just saying that aside from the D under GW there seems to be a lack of leadership, and some guys out there are proven leaders. I don't know what's gone wrong w/ the offense under Gibbs/Saunders, but excuses for everything under the sun can't be the answer.
This is the first season since Gibbs has been back where consistency on offense has been a problem. Last year it was the defense that was historically inconsistent, not the offense. Back in 2004, the offense was consistently bad.

Yeah, it's not pretty when they go cold for a half, but what are you going to do? Not try anything that could result in a turnover? Kneel the ball in the 3rd quarter? Sometimes bizarre things happen. It was only a 3 point game. Whatever. Moving on...

Again, MT: How is this "sharing your courage"? We're 3-2! Tear down the team! Fire the coaches! Quit now before we get hurt more for daring to hope we might be getting better! We've lost before, so we're going to keep losing! Sounds like fear, fear of being let down again, fear of losing, fear of disappointment.

Where's your courage? Dig deep! Have some faith! Find a way to win! No one's making excuses on the team. Why don't you try sticking with them a little longer? What do you have to lose? Or are you AFRAID they'll just hurt you again? Afraid they'll ruin your Sunday afternoons? Come on, man! Buck up! It's always darkest before the dawn.

(You don't seem to be listening to any of the arguments here: you're convinced already, and so they just sound like "excuses." So I am offering an emotional appeal in line with your stated creed. I'm sharing my courage, to bravely stand by and support this team with these coaches. At least until all is really lost. And that hour has not yet come.)

Great stuff man. Actually, I always get more done on the Sunday's when we lose (it's probably my most poductive day of the week). Just realized the gym always seems a lot more welcoming when we lose too.

Hey... there's a real upside to this.
