I agree guys.
Is it cus the rest of his body is so strong, chance luck or a freaky nerve repairing gene. [let's not get religous. We all wished him well or prayed. Please leave that out] This guy is lucky to be moving let along walking. WOW mike

The doctor who administered the brand new protocol which includes some kind of fluid that cools the core temperature of the body very quickly which limited the swelling and therefore the damage to the nerves inside the spinal column made history in the medical field for pulling off some stuff that had never really been tried before so soon after a life threatening trauma to the vertebrae of the neck. He almost died and now he is going to walk again. Mix modern medicine with some kind higher power and you get a miracle plain and simple.

Re: Bill's Everett can walk..a little
I heard they were cooling him down in the ambulance and gave him meds very early to drop body temp.
Heat = Influmation = swelling = pressure on things? Cool

But I'm SO happy to hear about Kevin Everett. I have a very close friend back in Gainesville, Fl who was paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident a few years ago. He is the most athletic kid I know, and was just devastated initially by his injury. We talked about Everett the day after it happened. My buddy wasn't as lucky and isn't expected to ever walk again, but he said hearing stories like this gives him the type of hope he needs. I couldn't be happier about this news.
