Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
One thing I don't understand is that while a run heavy, ball control offense is great, it only works if you're picking up first down. It's just not happening... We need to open things up...

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
It's just not that simple. I would agree IF our offensive line was fully intact. People will get tired of me saying it, but the offensive line dictates what type of offense you're going to have. When all but one starter is injured, then this is the end result.

No man, I hear ya. In fact if you look back over most of my posts on this site you'll see I'm on your side. I just wonder if the fact that we are not getting a solid run off the bat means we have to use some quick passing to open it up a little.

I think we've tried some of that too. I just don't believe Portis is fully healthy. The problem with that too is that we're not getting good passing lines developed for that either. Maybe if we can throw in some more timing patterns to counter our injured line, that might help to open things up.

I don't know. Maybe he was serious about the tendinitis before the season. But, he hasn't looked like Clinton Portis. But, thank God we have him, if for his blocking alone. He saved Campbell's butt big time today.

London Fletcher pumps his fist and that's taunting? Worst ref crew in the NFL those are the bozos that muffed the coin toss one year.
Worst call I have ever seen. Hello GW can you please send a minor blitz at Warner on the goaline? I was nearly shitting my pants but if we feel bad imagine if you were a Cards fan after that one???? Lets get healthy and go to NE balls to the wall..... |

Thing is we lost two of our best guys for the season, so our O line is going to be suspect the rest of the way. WE can't win too many more ball games with this offense, if any at all. Only winnable games if we do this poorly or even a little better is our game with the Jets and maybe Tampa Bay. I can't see us winning another divisional game with our O line this banged up and our offensive production so putrid. |
