Too bad we can't get the 91 skins to play this week!

I think the 91 skins had a better run game, and the current pats have the better pass game. The D's are comparable, though I really loved that 91 D. If they played head to head, it would be an awesome battle.

Something that isn't said enough about that 91 team is just how well coached they were & how much they maximized their talent at a time when a no. of players were near the end of their prime.

Gibbs' teams were never the most talented compared to other great super bowl teams, but he always got the most out of what he had.

In comparison the 2007 Patriots have outscored their opponents 279 - 120, or by an average score of 39.9 - 17.1. Average margin of victory = 22.8.

Just to give us an idea of the level of domination we're talking about. Can we just not show up this week?
I seriously hope that you aren't implying that the 2007 Patriots are not the greatest team ever to grace the face of this Earth and that they are ordained by some higher power to obliterate all who dare to step onto the same field with them. Clearly you haven't been paying attention. The Patriots are the greatest assemblage of human beings ever to undertake any endeavor in the history of the universe, make no mistake about it!

And this is why I give us a chance this weekend, the Patriots haven't faced a coach like Gibbs yet. Who the hell is Wade Phillips? They still haven't faced a coach that compares to Gibbs, that would be our intangible.
