Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions

Anyone can beat anyone on any given sunday. Yes the Pats are good but Im not going to go and declare them the best team in history quite yet. When the season is over then you can say anything you want, but for the meantime in this league anyone can win. Noone in the media has given the Skins any chance at all and I think thats ridiculous. Only 1 team in NFL history has had a perfect season and that was the same year that the Pats had their only win versus the Skins. In todays league I don't see any team ever going 16-0 mainly because once weeks 15-17 roll around the team has their division and field advantage sewn up that they rest their starters and therefore losses usually don't matter.
The Skins definitely CAN win it just depends if they can limit turnovers and mistakes. If they don't beat themselves like they have in their 2 losses this season than they will win.
Skins 28
Pats 24
Faith.

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions

In other news, "Hammerin'" Hank Goldberg just said the Skins will cover:

NE 29
Wash 21

My question is this: Should I even be concerned about a TV tout who hasn't seen the sunny side of .500 in about eight years?

Washington 29 Patriots 20.

Here's why.

- When Dallas was behind 14-0 in the first quarter vs the Pats, I thought "I wish we had better safetys".
You guys have better safetys.

- When Dallas went ahead in the third quarter and had been knocking Brady around for 2.5 quarters forcing Brady into a three step drop, I thought "I wish we had better safetys so Welker could stop looking like the second coming of Jerry Rice and Mark Bavaro"
You guys have better safetys.

- When Marion Barber kept running over Patriots I said " I wish we had better safetys so we wouldn't be so behind that we have to pass so much".
You Guys have better safetys.

If JC can just play within his ability and not fall for the many exotic defensive sets that Belichek will throw at him, then your tight ends and Running backs - and you have four top level players in those positions - will run all over the Patriots old Linebackers.

The Skins have the coverage ability that Dallas didn't - with one starting CB out and Roy Williams playing cover safety - so let's stop drinking the 'Best Ever' Kool-Aid. The NFC East is for real and I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats go 2-2 in our division.

I'll be watching and Rooting for the Redskins.

Dude... you just brought a tear to my eye. Seriously, that is a great analysis. I have to agree, we are in a very tough division, and the Cowboys did hand the Pats their asses. It did come down to the last few minutes. That is where we could loose the game... time management. We have faltered so many times this season. Joe needs to call the right plays in the end, and not give the Pats a chance under the 2 minutes.

That said.
Redskins 16
Pats 13

I see a blocked PAT (pun intended), and Tom Brady getting taken down in the endzone today.

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions

Skins 28, Pats 17

The Skins safeties are going to control this football game and Brady's picks will double (he'll throw two today) and Sean Taylor will have a "coming out party" at least that's how the media will see it. They'll give the O a short field a couple times and they'll capitalize. Then, an early 3rd quarter ball controlling style drive will give the Skins the 21-17 lead that takes the heart of the Pats. We'll add another late one and that will be the end of the perfect season talk for the Pats, then the Pats will end the Colts perfect dream next week. Allowing those @$$hole Dolphins to pop the champagne again.

Big D I told them I was being generous. Redskin D my Ass.

Why comment to Giantone? Its obvious he does not pay attention to the greatness that is New England Patriots but only the non greatness that is Washington. Does this person even mention the Giants? Reading his post you would think his favorite team is the Redskins.

This board owns me an apology on my score prediction with all the flack I received about it. Hell, I even revised it to stop getting stupid ignorant responses. Listen to a woman next time boys.

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions

AM I KIDDING? HELL NO LOOK AT ALL THIS CRAP about a score prediction of 42-3? And the Redskins got skined

skinsfan69
42-3 is just silly. Show us some respect. Jeez.

GiantsSuck703

You really must think highly of your beloved Cowboys.

Sean Taylor
UR A JOKE!

GTripp0012
You were also being stupid.

GhettoDogAllStars

It's obvious you think our offense is garbage. So, seriously, how many points do you think we'll score? Do you seriously think we'll only score 3 points?

NE gave up 14 points to the Jets (29th ranked offense) and 28 points to Miami who played with a no-name QB (Lemon). Not to mention that they have not held an opponent to less than 7 points all year. You're crazy if you really think we won't score a touchdown.

GhettoDogAllStars

Exactly. Not all the Cowboys fans posting are to blame, but the ones who are make their fanbase look like morons who know absolutely NOTHING about football, and ride the jock of the whoever's popular at the time.

Please prove us wrong.

saden1

just because they've destroyed everybody, including the Cowboys, doesn't mean they are going to destroy the Skins.

In any case, you guys almost got shocked by the Bills, Skins almost got shocked by the Cards, and the Patriots can almost get socked by the Skins. They play the game for a reason and your 42-3 prediction is very asinine and unintelligent.

p.s. I very much look forward to the Skins fucking your Cowboys up.

warriorzpath

Just shut up.

Sheriff Gonna Getcha
People like you make it so hard for me to be nice to people like 5Rings, who is not like you. Troll.

SC Skins Fan

They got ripped a new one by the Pats and are REALLY hoping the Skins take it hard so they won't feel so bad about themselves.

Who knows nothing about football know GhettoDogAllStars? I know you and the redskins coaches and players that's who.
