Bet On It
I've been reading a LOT of negative stuff about our favorite team and was wondering who would take me up on the following bets (this is hypothetical) if, say, the wager was $100? Maybe just some Warpath respect...
1. Portis runs for more than 1,500 yds this year. 2. We win at least 9 games. 3. Ramsey is our starting QB at the end of the year. 4. We make the playoffs. |

Hypothetically... I probably would. If it happens, I'm happy even though I just lost 100$. If it doesn't, at least I'm 100$ richer. Not too bad a deal either way.

I will take the Portis bet in a heartbeat BB, and I would put as much money on that as anyone can cover, no way he break's 1500yds!

I'd take every bet except the PR as starter bet. I think MB will get hurt and PR will be the starter by the end of the year. As for the other bets no way will they happen. The skins will be lucky to get 5 wins this year.

Portis is on track for 1476 yards this year already. If he breaks 1K I'll be happy myself. I just want to see him utilized correctly.

If I had to bet I'd say Portis will top 1500 yards or come very close to it, we still have a good shot at winning 9 games, Ramsey will not be the starter unless it's due to an injury to Brunell and making the playoffs is 50/50 right now.

I really believe the skins will be okay, they will be fine next year. I dont think Portis will get 1500 yards the offensive line is horrible. Denver 's front line is good

I think Portis was in part a product of the Denver system under Alex Gibbs. That said, I think he will be looking a lot better by the middle of the season. I agree with Madden's commentary last week that once the O-line gets its timing down, Portis will break out. I have no doubt Portis will break 1,500 yards.
