But isn't there irony in people on the one hand saying "this is a grown man's hard-hitting sport where class does not apply and you shouldn't care about your opponents well-being" and on the other hand saying "it's not nice or classy to try to put some hurt on an opponent, regardless of whether it is in violation of the rules?"

I would like to say that I turn the other cheek, but I usually do not. I usually am going to try to take both of your eyes if you take one of mine. If someone tries to make themselves look good at my expense and knows they are going to humiliate me, I am going to do my best to make sure they never want to do that again. Hubris is a b---h.

Well said Sheriff! I stand by my belief that it was classless of the Pats to run up the score, but I also believe it is equally classless to intentionally hurt the guy. However, like SS said, if one of his offensive linemen happen to roll up his leg or something, then well....better luck next time is all I say...lol!
