If Gibbs Goes, Who coaches next year?

But like SS said, this season is far from over, and if this team makes it to the post season this year, then it moves up closer to turning the corner next year. I mean, I can only imagine having a young QB who has playoff experience with a team that was riddled with injuries. There are a lot of positives to this team. Unfortunately for us, it has been the little things that have kept us from turning the corner earlier.

If we were getting blown out in ever loss we have had since Gibbs has come back, then I'd be worried, but that isn't the case. There is a fine line between being a top team and being a losing team. I believe you make a coaching change now, and you remove all doubt that this team's stablity will be gone, and everything we have worked up to at this point will be scraped.

I don't think for one second Gibbs should leave now. But how long is the leash? We have almost all of the same problems we had in his first season, and it's not getting much better. I think pending the end result of this season, you have to consider other options.
