This makes me think that Joe Gibbs would have probably been an even better college coach than a pro one. Not to say that he doesn't have all of the skills and attributes necessary for the NFL, but his leadership and moral code would've made him a great teacher for young people.
That's an excellent point about Gibbs as a college coach. I've said that over and over again, and I feel like it's fallen on deaf ears. Of course with 3 Super Bowl rings and a bust in Canton no one will argue he made the wrong choice in the NFL, but I always thought he would be fantastic in college.
