I dont think any of us really know what ST was because he wouldnt tell us.

If this happened to Favre, would there be such a focus (or at all) about his past drug addiction or his hard partying ways when he was a younger man? I'd be shocked if it was made mention at all. Certain aspects of the media make their name and revel in negativity and exploit it when it's convenient to their story or overall agenda.. This is what I see in the national coverage.
