Tom Brady's first year as a starter the Pats didn't make it back to the playoffs after winning the SB. Patience and a true Number 1 WR is what will make JC a household name. Tom Brady won that SB in 2002 then they missed the playoffs and won in 04 and 05 and if I'm correct it was his 1st year with the team.
