I happen to agree that Eddie George is on the downslope of his career. However, today he averaged about 5 yards per carry which ain't shabby. Today, George looked as if he might work out as the feature back for the Cowboys.

I realize he actually had a good day, but at the expensive of the team's main strength, which is vinny passing between the 20s... the other thing i saw is that george only got 15 carries, which isn't a normal featured back's load, and that R. Anderson had a better showing averaging 6.2ypc and he had a couple catches as well... its like bill decided to throw the game away to build some confidence in his running game... |
