I was originally ok with the extension offer but then I started thinking about it and I have changed my mind. Why offer it now? What good comes out of it. Its very clear that Snyder supports Gibbs, he doesnt need to offer the extension hours before the most important game of the season. Its a distraction, especially for Gregg Williams. There is no doubt in my mind he has to be thinking somewhat about leaving now. Even if it is a small thought in his mind that means hes not 100% dedicated to the game.

In his blog, JLC says the ESPN report is false. He says that his (JLC) FO source says that Gibbs does not want to even talk about this until after the season. So, at this point, there is no reason to get our collective panties in a bunch.
