Phillips is safe with a deep playoff run, but if he goes one and done...I don't think he will be back.
Tripp,
I usually agree with you...but no way do the cowgirls dump a 13-3 coach after 1 season....and though I think Garrett may be a hot commodity, he still needs 1 more year under his belt anyways.
I would be psyched if some other team landed him.
In my opinion Wade is untouchable unless you know someone in the Cowgirls org or something.

No one is likely to pull a Shottenheimer firing for the next 5 years.
The fact is teams with double digit wins rarely fire their coach.
I cant even think of a 2nd one.

I couldn't imagine Phillips getting fired if they go one and done. Garrett has shown he's a good O/C. But so is Norv Turner.

Re: It's Firing Season

phillips? man, you crazy.

reid won't go, billick would cost something like $15mill to fire i believe, so no way he's out. fox still has owner support last i heard.

the problem is, what coaches are you going to hire? cowher? schotty? those two are winners, but beyond that, there aren't many proven NFL coaches sitting around... i mean, if petrino's getting a job, that means your talent pool is a little bit too thin.
