Re: NFL Network overrated.

I like it...especially now that I don't have it anymore...thank you Comcast! NFL Replay is awesome in the offseason.

What I don't understand is why the NFL doesn't sell DVD's of whole games??? I would love to buy DVDs of past games to watch...obviously the Super Bowls, but other games too...who amongst us wouldn't want to watch Dexter Manley plant Danny White in the turf again????

Well, let's remember that the NFL Network isn't exactly as seasoned as ESPN. They are still going through the infancy stage. I think the channel would really increase its viewers if they continue to show old archieved games like they did last offseason. For instance, it was great getting to watch the Redskins/Broncos Super Bowl last summer uncut. Maybe this offseason, they could show the best games from each team dating back to the 60's. I know I would love to watch a few of those great George Allen coached Redskins games that I was too young to see. Certainly would love watching Joe Theismann and John Riggins playing again.

Re: NFL Network overrated.

I like NFL Network. They cover the game while the other is only interested in controversy and individual personalities. Plus, I've gotten to the point where Chris Berman makes me physically ill. George Micheal does the same thing. Comcast shows that interview with Dan Snyder ad nauseum and it is without question the worst, most annoying, most infuriating television interview I have ever seen. George succeeds, by applying the full force of his affected persona, in making Snyder seem appealing by comparison.

I'm watching Super Bowl III on NFLN right now. Amazing to be able to watch the entire game as if it's happening today. Can't believe that game is nearly 40 years old.

Ray Brown is in at RG for the Jets now j/k

Re: NFL Network overrated.

I love those Super Bowl replays. It's really cool to be able to watch the entire game as it was shown originally, two thumbs up to the NFLN!
