Re: More bulletin board material
A word of advice my friend. Behave yourself and you'll be fine. We're all for having civil discussion with opposing fans, with maybe a little good natured ribbing thrown in. So far, we've had no Seahawks visitors who have been able to accomplish that.

Re: More bulletin board material
Part of what makes Qwest so loud is the closeness to the field. Remember RFK? IMO that place seemed louder than FedEx even though it holds about half as many people. I really don't think any team "pipe's in" noise though some teams are slow to turn off the music when the visiting team breaks huddle or doesn't huddle.
As far as where the hate is coming from, it's gotta be frustrating to continually win your division and be a contender, yet never win your last postseason game. Given how weak their schedule was they would have had to pull a 16-0 to really get much national love. C'mon, Panthers and Falcons? Plus, it's Seatle. They have always seemed to be an afterthought in professional sports. I was a big fan of Largent, but despite his achievements, do you ever hear his name mentioned among all-time great receivers?

Those fans there are vicious and tasteless to say the least. People like that who basically say, "he got what he deserved" are the idiots who are helping the decline of society. If Seahawks fans REALLY feel like that then I'd rather not have them around. But if there are Seahawks fans that can act civil and not like a major tool, then they'll be welcomed. Take some tips from Dallas fans and be classy. (Okay at least sandtrapjack)

Anyone see Mike Sellers on Fox 5? He was being asked about all the fuss raised over his comments, and he simply said (paraphrasing) "I mean, It is what it is. If they don't...then oh well. I just said what I thought" '
After Dave Feldman (sp) asked him if he cared what the Seahawks were saying about him Mike Sellers replied by asking "Who?" Gotta love big Mike.

The Redskins are historically pretty good mudders as well since we're a run first offense. I agree that the wind would be a bigger factor, but I'd argue that it would affect Seattle more since they're a pass-first offense.

I'm actually surprised we haven't seen more trolls. One of the boards started a thread listing every Skins forum they could find, including us and basically told everyone to go and have fun. |
