Jersey Frame?

Hey warpathers I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to get a jersey framed? I'm trying to get the taylor jersey I got auto'd at training camp framed, and have been since August, but most of the places I've gone are a bit out of my price range. Any suggestions for an affordable quality fram in the Northern Virginia area? thanks all Go Skins

Here is a place in Maryland that has nice frames and they look pretty good when finished.

Those are the guys that got raided by the police... I would be apprehensive about buying anthing from them.

I have done a couple of things. Michaels does framing but they seem kind of high. I have purchased a couple of showdow boxes from them when they go on sale for 50%. Those look nice.

I would suggest you call around to all of the local frame shops in your area... get estimates. I have done that before and gotten some great prices (and also some that will make you laugh).

My girlfriend bought me a signed Darrell Green jersey and case. The place she got the case from engraves the team logo and name for free. They look even better then the picture. I like the case so much I'm getting another one for a Portis jersey.

Those are good prices.... about what Michael's is when they have their sales... the advantage to Michaels is you can get it then, and don't have to pay shipping.

Since your in NoVA, you may also want to go to the big show in Chantilly that they have several times a year: Collectors' Showcase of America. There are always vendors with different display things for sports stuff.

I'm "The Girlfriend" in this post and I felt like I should add something since I'm the one who actually bought the case. I'll start off by saying that I shopped around for a long time before I chose this place. The pictures absolutely do not do this case justice. The company is excellent to deal with and has great communication. The packaging was superb and the shipping is very reasonable. The engraving looks great and the jersey fits perfectly. It even comes with a custom hanger for the best view. I chose the mohogany boarder and it's perfect with the skins colors. Both of us wouldn't get a case anywhere else. I hope this helps.
