Matt Bowen says Williams is the best choice

Hey guys, I live in Tennessee Titan's country and on the local sports talk radio this morning they were talking about Jim Schwartz interviewing for the Skins HC job. That is being discussed in another thread, but when they finished that conversation, they said that Greg Williams, if he did not get the HC job in D.C would be high on several team's list to be a Defense Coordinator. These guys on the radio, of whom one was former Skins and Titans player Frank Wycheck, spoke of nothing but praise for Greg Williams.

I think Danny is kind of missing the boat if he does not hired Greg, who is overwhelmingly the "best coach available" for the Skins at this point. Danny may be thinking something long term with another coach and we all know he likes to make a big splash with players and coaches, but I think he needs to look at how other successful teams are doing it these days with continuity and a defensive minded coach. Recent offensive minded coaches have not worked out very well, while defensive coaches instill that toughness and work ethic that all teams need. "Danny.... think defense and hire Greg.... Please!
