Can we now officially call Romo a choke artist?

Yeah but this isn't something you evaluate with numbers. Romo's career is so young, and he's played only two playoff games. So looking at stats obviously isn't going to tell you much. What we do know, though, is that Tony Romo has started off the last two seasons absolutely red hot, but then played like asscrack coming down the stretch. 1) His December performances have been awful.

2) Like Matty said, he was not acting one bit like a leader in the 4th quarter yesterday. He was bitching at his guys. He was panicking. He was playing frantically. There was no poise whatsoever, no confident calm to his demeanor. You can just tell by looking at the guy - he's a decent QB with decent talent - but he has no intangibles. He's got an unorthodox delivery and a gunslinger's mentality just like Brett Favre, but none of Favre's take-charge leadership. That doesn't reflect in the numbers, you can only see that by watching the game and paying attention to human behavior.

So far in his young career, he's definitely a choke artist. He's got plenty of time to turn that around, but I honestly don't like his chances in the NEXT heat of the moment - he's just not a leader.
