Super Bowl prediction contest (congrats to our winner Cooley1!)

Ok this is how this will work. Name your two Super Bowl teams, and the winner will receive a $50 gift card to the NFL Shop.

For a tie breaker, name the final score and the combined total that comes closest to the actual score wins.

This thread will be locked down just prior to the first wild card game on Saturday, so get your picks in now.

Good luck!

(I'm not going to participate but for the other mods feel free)

Re: Super Bowl prediction contest

This is a ballzie call but here it goes:

I like the Giants to beat the Packers in the second round, as I think the Packers have played a complete season but just seem to be very beatable. I was in the 2nd row at Packers when they played the skins and saw it up close, it wasn’t as hostile as one would think.

I like the skins to squeeze a close one out in Dallas, after whooping the Seahawks. Further, I feel that by this time the skins will be out of steam and have to play a tough divisional game against a team they couldn’t take care of twice this year in NJ,(trust me its killing me to type this crap).

So here it is:

Giants: 20
Pats: 31

Janet Jackson: 10
Timberlake: 0

I am preying that I am wrong but this is how it played out in my head when I analyzed it all.

In order to keep better track of things here, I'm going to delete the predictions of people that have been eliminated.

We already have a winner! Only one person called this matchup, congrats!

PM me to collect your prize, a $50 gift card for the NFL shop.

Thanks to everyone for playing.
